This independent guide to Meribel ski holidays & Meribel snowboard holidays is written by season workers with more than 25 years experience of both skiing & snowboarding here in Meribel, France.

What a season . Fab snow all season, ... Mostly Fab weather !!! .The snow stayed rght till the end, and the last week of April saw empty slopes, sunshine, blue skies and 20cm of fresh powder !!

So these Meribel ski tracks were 2012 season - This year just found no time and no reason to update.Too busy skiing, and this year was 100% better snow anyway.

This season those who took a ski holiday in Meribel would have been bery happy for apart from a few odd days it was superb for all 5 months.

This year Meribel had the best snow for at least 25 years.

Bookings are alteady arriving for school holidays 9th and 16th eb and new year week so if this is your choice get in early.

My advance tip would be to try January for the best value and almost guaranteed snow, plus quite slopes.

2010 season's dog's favourite sport in Meribel. Did not see him this year though!

Meribel has over 700 snow cannons covering 1/3 of pistes, and 80% of the Meribel ski area is above 1800m. All this means more or less guaranteed snow for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts in early season..when cold..
