This is an upmarket, very high quality mountain restaurant, very popular with the rich and famous. Not a place to have lunch if you are on a budget but definitely well worth a visit for a special occasion! Especially for wine buffs! Marta, the charming Spanish owner tries to greet her guests personally. She has built up a wonderful reputation for La Soucoupe over her many winter seasons. We have personally received some lovely client testimonials about La Soucoupe. For a very special lunch in superb surroundings in 1850, this restaurant is hard to beat. Steaks are superb, grilled on an open fire as are all the meat dishes. The quality & size of the wine cellar is quite astounding (100 +). It has a terrific sun terrace with superb views and a beautiful interior with log fire for the cold days.
Note: Advance reservations are absolutely essential here. Reach la Soucoupe by Coqs or Plantrey chairlifts & Chenus bubble.
