♥ Chalet Snowbel has a fabulous location in the centre of Meribel. This is a perfect chalet for easy access to the slopes and the vibrant nightlife that Meribel has on offer.

♥ All the bedrooms can be made up as twins/doubles with one of the bedrooms having space for extra beds which can be used as a family room.

♥ The large terrace is perfect for watching the world going by at the end of the day and watching the sun going down over the hill. There are also a couple of balconies.

♥ There is a ski locker and boot warmers available for guests to use. The boot warmer is turned on before you head out skiing so your boots are cosy and ready for you.

♥ The main living/dining area is open plan. The living area seats 5 on the corner sofa. There’s a large flat-screen TV, with satellite Freeview channels, DVD player, and choice of DVDs.

♥ There’s also an iPod docking station. Off the living room is a balcony with views of Meribel and the mountains. There’s also a downstairs WC. Stairs from the living area lead up to the second floor. Here there is access onto a large outdoor terrace.

♥ For early arrivals it is possible to leave the bags in the garage and go upstairs to where your pre-ordered skis and passes will be waiting for you, and then you can go out skiing. Ski all day Saturday, and by the time you return from the slopes, the whole chalet will be cleaned and ready for you, with fresh tea and cakes waiting.

♥ On your last Saturday, you need to be out of your bedrooms by 10, but the chalet hosts can keep your bags for you, so you can ski all day. If you wanted a shower at the end of the day, the swimming pool at the Olympic Centre is a very good place to go, so that you’re fresh for the journey home.

Layout

Bedroom 1 – En suite double/twin bedroom with space for up to 2 extra beds. Ideal for a couple, 3 single adults or 2 adults and 2 children. En suite shower, wc and whb.
Bedroom 2 – En suite double/twin bedroom. Ensuite bath with shower, wc and whb.
Bedroom 3 – Small bedroom which can be either a twin or double. This is ideal for 1 adult or 2 children. It may be a squeeze for a couple.

Location

♥ Chalet Snowbel probably has the best location in Meribel of any individual chalet. It is two doors down from La Refuge restaurant, right in the centre of town.
♥ It is less than a minute to walk to the escalator that takes you onto the ski slope by the Tourist Office. From here, it is a very short ski to La Chaudanne, the main lift area of Meribel, with access to all three valleys. In the evenings, entertainment is virtually on your doorstep, with all of Meribel’s shops, restaurants and bars within a short stroll.
