♦ In 1996, Marielle and Edouard Ruchti, who both specialise in luxury hotels, turned the hotel into a cosy haven of peace and tranquillity. Le Grand Cœur is also a member of the highly prestigious Relais & Châteaux association since 1966.
♦ Le Petit Montagnard restaurant offers a wide selection of dishes that use regional ingredients. Chef Marc Dach serves all manner of original, gourmet dishes. Meals are created using the favourite dishes of extraordinary characters such as Amédée VIII (1383-1451), Duke of Savoy, who reigned over one of the most illustrious courts in Europe and Maître Chiquart, his head chef.

♦ Evening Meals are are taken in Le Grand Cœur restaurant. The Chef’s cuisine is both elegant and daring as he adds a gourmet twist to traditional dishes. This is creative fine dining, its colours and flavours appealing to all the senses – a thrill for lovers of good food.
♦ When it comes to wine the hotel cellars contain more than 400 different wine labels from the whole of France to be served with their fine dishes. The Maître d’Hôtel will help you choose the best wines to go with your meals for the best possible dining experience.
♦ The set menu changes daily and offers two starters, a meat or fish course, cheeses, a dessert of the day or dessert trolley and suggested food and wine pairings.
♦ There will of course be special Christmas and New Year menus.
♦ The lounge bar is the perfect place to get cosy and have some afternoon tea after a day on the slopes. In the evening after 7pm you can have a drink in front of the roaring fire. Laurent the head bartender will create a cocktail of your choice.
♦ Children will enjoy the games room where there is a television, video games and a football table. There is also a snack menu on offer at the bar.
♦ The Spa at Le Grand Cœur Spa, is made up of natural wood and stone and designed to provide a relaxing space to let you get away from it all.
